ProMachine offers three main types of testing services:

• SOMAT/eDAQ Series
• Cooling System Performance Tests
• Hydraulic Component Testing

SOMAT/eDAQ Series

ProMachine utilizes the SOMAT/eDAQ Series of data acquisition products to validate structural integrity as well as to ensure product performance meets or exceeds the customer’s specifications and expectations.

Cooling System Performance Tests

For Cooling System Performance Tests, ProMachine offers:

• 800 Hp Water Brake Dynamometer – 800 Hp/2000 ft-lbs/5000 rpm Driveline style
• Fluke Data Acquisition instrumentation for simultaneously gathering up to 40 channels for temperature, pressure, rotational speed, and voltage
• Hand-held wind speed meter for general readings
• Smoke stick flow path determination and troubleshooting
• Standardized spreadsheet for data review and analysis

Hydraulic Component Testing

ProMachine offers Hydraulic Component Testing of motors, pumps, cylinders, valves and complete systems. Are you trying to introduce unproven hydraulic components into your production because of cost reduction or other reasons? Here's how ProMachine can help reduce the risk to you!

• ProMachine has a 75 Hp/45 gpm/5000 psi hydraulic power unit equipped with an 8-channel expandable PLC.
• We can trigger off of pressure switches and/or position limit switches to produce cycling rates down to 1 Hz.
• Cycle testing can occur 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.¹
• Time-out limits for failure events are set through the software.
• Sample pressure traces are taken for each run to ensure proper duty cycle.
• The PLC software has built-in cycle counting.
• Our Engineering staff can design and build a test fixture to fit your needs.
• We have two decades of hydraulic design and testing expertise.

¹Monitoring will occur during the regular work hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Problem resolution during regular business hours will take place as quickly as possible. Monitoring during Saturdays, Sundays, and company holidays will occur once each of those days. Problems occurring at night, Saturdays, Sundays, and company holidays will be addressed the next business day and resolved as quickly as possible. The testing instrumentation is programmed to automatically stop testing in the event of a mechanical or hydraulic failure.
